Bajaj Pulsar
Hamara Bajaj was the slogan people had on their tongue always from 1950’s, but time changes and thus Bajaj Motors evolved and surpassed the rest and the bike which made it possible was really distinctly ahead.
Yes, the Bajaj Pulsar which was launched in 180cc model and soon to join was the 150cc model.
To keep up with competition and to prove that Bajaj was still a major player in Bike Bazaar in India, there was severe up gradation of engine and Bajaj Pulsar DTSi was launched and was accepted with open arms by the youth.
With an on board 8 bit processor and next generation CDI capacitor Discharge Ignition and DTSi technology – Digital Twin Spark Ignition, it’s evident that new Bajaj Pulsar 220cc has made waves and a cause of concern to other bike manufacturer as the oil cooled engine they used first in Bajaj Avenger is now being used in this model too.
Bajaj Pulsar has a styling as no other bike on road a hell bent aerodynamic shape with 17” alloy wheel, tubeless tires, and the obvious digital instrument panel with a freakish orange glow back light is sufficient to make every young man alive in India to dream of owning Pulsar 220cc and going on a ride alone and attracting the eyes of onlookers.
Split seat is added to give that extra zing to the styling.
With a top speed of 145 kmph, a maximum torque of 20ps or 20hp or 15 kW and a maximum power of 19.13 Nm or 14 lb ft.
All the models come with front disc brakes and 5 speed sequential transmission gear box. The front telescopic is telescopic and the rear has 5 ways adjustable gas charged Nitro X shock absorber. The fuel tank capacity is 15 liters with 2 liters as reserve.
Pulsar is always ahead of competition be it Unicorn of the Hondas or Karizma from the Hero Hondas or even the TVS Apache, Pulsar 220 is distinctly way ahead of the rest and time.
