Aamir Khan is a well known actor in Bollywood, who acted in many supper hit films like, Lagaan, Rang De Basanti, 3 Idiots, and many more.

He made his debuted in Hindi film with Holi in 1984 and delivered wonderful performance. Today he is counted as a super star of Hindi film industry. Aamir got huge acclamation from his fans for his outstanding performance in film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.

He was awarded with National Film Award for his acting. After that he witnessed much success and won several other prestigious awards.

Early Life:

Aamir Khan was born on March 14, 1965 in Mumbai, India in a Muslim family, given wonderful contribution to the film industry.

His father, Tahir Hussain was a well known film producer. Besides that his uncle Nasir Hussain was also a great movie producer as well as director.

He grew up in a filmy background family and that helped him to learn several techniques of acting. Moreover, he is popularly known as a descendent of great politician, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.

Aamir married Reena Dutta and have two children named Junaid, and Ira. Later on they both announced their separation, Aamir then tied the knot with Kiran Rao and presently living with her.

Filmy career,

Aamir started his filmy journey as a child artist in film Yaadon Ki Baaraat, directed by Nasir Hussain in 1973. He professionally entered into acting field with Ketan Mehta’s Holi in 1984.

Aamir soon got opportunity to appear in lead role in film, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak in 1988 that witnessed huge box office success.

He was honored with National Film Award for his wonderful performance in the film. He appeared in film, Dil Hai Ke manta Nahi in 1991.

The film was directed by Mahesh Bhatt, became huge popular and made him popular overnight. He then showed his versatile talent in film, Andaz Apna Apna alongwith Salman Khan.

Aamir was acclaimed for his great acting talent in film Raja Hindustani, directed by Dharmesh Darshan, co-starring Karisma Kapor in 1996.

He got filmfare Best Actor Award for his unmatched performance in the film. Later on he acted in several other hit films like Ishq, Sarfarosh and Mela.

In 2001, Aamir Khan launched his career as a producer and came with his film, Lagaan, earned huge box office success and earned many popular awards. He then continued his success with Taare Zameen Par and also made his directorial debut with this film. He then produced many hit films such as Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Peepli Live, Dhobi Ghat, and Delhi Belly.
