Ajay Devgan is the most successful actor in Bollywood who made his debut in Hindi film with Phool Aur Kaante in 1991 and won Flmfare Best Actor Award for his great performance.

After that Ajay has made his appearance in number of super hit movies that includes Jigar, Dilwale, Ishq, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Gangaajal, and more.

After a successful acting career, he stepped into production field and launched his own film production house, Devgan production and made his first film, Raju Chacha in 2000. Besides that, Ajay launched himself as a director with film, U, Me Aur Hum in 2008.

Early Life:

Ajay Devgan was born on April 2, 1969 in New Delhi, India in the family of Veeru Devgan, a veteran stunt choreographer and Veena Devgan, a film producer.

He has a brother named, Anil Devgan, working as a director in Bollywood. Ajay did his schooling from New Delhi and graduated in Mumbai from Mithibai College. He then married Kajol, a great Hindi film actress on February 23, 1999 and they have two kids.

Filmy Career:

Ajay Devgan started his filmy career in 1991 with film, Phool Aur Kaante that earned huge box office success and he received Filmfare Best Actor Debut Award. He then starred in Jigar, co-starring Karishma Kapoor, in 1992. It was another successful movie that made him popular overnight in the film industry.

He continued his much appreciated performance and earned National Film Award for Best Actor and Star Screen Award for Zakham, directed by Mahesh Bhatt, in 1998.


After that Ajay appeared in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, in 1999. This film was biggest hit of the year and helped him to touch the apex of success.


Ajay made his appearance in many other hit films such as Hindustan Ki Kasam, Lajja, Company, Hum Kisi Se Kam Nahi, LOC Kargil, and more.


In 2006 he did two successful films Golmaal and Omkara and showed his versatile acting skills. Ajay recently appeared in film Singham as Bajirao Singham and won the heart of audience by his excellent performance.

His upcoming movies are Rascals, Tezz, Power, and Bol Bachchan.
