Amrita Singh

Amrita Singh is a great bollywood actress. She was born on February 28th year 1958.

Family and life
Her grand father to her father was a famous and rich contractor who had contributed in establishing the city of New Delhi.

He was also decorated the knight award due to his contributions. The bolywood celebrity Grand uncle is the famous writer Khushwant Singh.

Her father divorced her mother while she is still very young and after that she attended a modern school in the city of New Delhi.

 Her career life
The hot celebrity India, amrita Singh’s mother helped here to start her career as an actress in Bollywood, she did her best to introduce her daughter to B.R. chopra as he was looking for a new face for his up coming film but at the end he did not choose amrita Singh and preferred Salma Agha. After that Amrita got her share of success when she featured the famous film Betaab.

Betaab which was displayed on 1983 was a huge success and it was followed by several films that all of them was succesfull like, Sunny 1984, Mard in 1985, Naam in 1986and Khdgarz in 1987. During that successful period she acted in front of very famous actors like Amitabh bachchan. In 1993 she won her award as a support actress from the film fare for her role in Aaina.

While she was a very famous actress at that time, Bollywood celebrity Amrita Singh preferred to stop acting and concentrate in her family life. After approximately 10 years she resumed her career and continued acting films.

She is married to Saif Ali Khan who is younger by 12 years and has two kids, Sara and Ibrahim. After she returned to acting the bollywood actress was divorced from her husband ali on 2004 and is now living with her children.
