Personal Information:

Arjun Rampal is the most successful Indian actor, who appeared in many Bollywood films and achieved great fame by showing his great talent. His debut film was Moksha, directed by Ashok Mehta in 2001.

He is known for his outstanding performance in several other films such as Aankhen, Tehzeeb, Ek Ajnabee, Don-The Chase Begins Again, and many more.

Early Life:

Arjun Rampal was born on November 26, 1972 in Jabalpur, India. He belongs to a Punjabi family. He is the son of Amarjeet Rampal and Gwen Rampal.

Besides that he has one sister.Arjun completed his schooling from Kodaikanal International School, located in Tamil Nadu. Moreover, he attended Hindu College, Delhi and completed his graduation in Economics stream. After completing his education he tied the knot with Mehr Jesia, former Miss India.

Filmy Career:

Arjun Rampal started his acting career with film, Moksha in 2001, but he got fame with his second movie, Pyar Ishq Aur Mohabbat, co-starring Sunil Shetty and Aftab Shivdasani. His performance in the movie made crazy everyone and that made him a popular star.

He was honored with International Indian Film Academy for the Face of the Year. He appeared in Temptation Concert 2004, alongwith Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukherji, Saif Ali Khan and Priyanka Chopra.

After that he starred in Kabhi Alvida Na Kahna, produced and directed by Karan Johar, in 2006.

Arjun Rampal got major breakthrough in the form of Don: The Chase Begins Again, alongwith Shah Rukh Khan in 2006. It was a remake of Don, starred Amitabh Bachchan, explored huge response and he was acclaimed for his great performance.

He then appeared in a negative role in Frah Khan’s Om Shanti Om in 2007. After that he starred in many hit movies that include The Last Lear, EMI, Rock On, and Houseful. He recently appeared in a multi starrer movie, Raajneti, produced and directed by Prakash Jha, in 2010.

Besides that he has some upcoming projects such as Ra One, The Legand of Kunal, and Rascals.
