Her early days and childhood.Babita Kapoor was born in 1948 for a sindhi family, her father was an actor too, his name is Hari Shivadasani.

This bollywood celebrity was also the niece of Sadhana actress. Her father was her entrance to the cinema life, he prepared a camera test for her with a producer called G. P. Sippy. After he was convinced with her camera test, the producer decided to let her star his next film.

Her career life
Babita lapoor had a very short career life as she married in the end of 1971, just 5 years after starting her career. Despite this short period of time, this bollywood celebrity performed in 19 films. After marriage she stayed at home according to the traditions of her family, she had two daughters who turned out to be the famous Indian actresses Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.

After few years, she felt that she is under pressure from that marriage so, she decided to break up and took the two daughters with her. She was the first to break the traditions and she put her two daughters on the beginning of the movie industry career and they did not let her down.

Magically, after more than 20 years she and her ex- husband reunite again and renew their vows. She even went to live with him back in the same property that she left 20 years ago.

Babita Kapoor is now a grand mother and she is living in Mumbai with her daughter Kareena Kapoor.
