Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan model who has acted in lots of Bollywood movies and got huge fame. She was honored with Sri Lanka Universe in 2006 and became huge popular. Jacqueline started her career in Bollywood with Aladin in 2010 and awarded with ‘Best Female Debut’ for her heart winning performance. .

Early life

Jacqueline Fernandez was born on June 2, 1985 in Colombo, Sri Lanka in a Burgher family. Later on her family moved to Bahrain where she completed her schooling from The Sacred Heart School.

She had great passion for modeling and acting since her childhood. Jacqueline has participated in many co-curricular activities that include athletic, drama, and ballet at the time of her schooling.

For higher education she moved to Australia and graduated from Murrey University that is located in Melbourne, Australia and earned a degree in mass media.

Career:

After completed her higher education she showed her propensity for modeling and became a renowned model by profession.

She did modeling for many fashion designers and earned huge fame. In 2006 she was honored with Miss Sri Lankan for Miss Universe. After that she appeared as an anchor on Lanka Business Report and also worked as a columnist for The Daily Mirror.

Filmy Career:

Jacqueline Fernandez made her debut in Bollywood with film Aladin, alongwith Ritesh Deshmukh, Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt in 2009.

Her next film was Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai. Besides that she was spotted in cameo appearance in Sajid Khan’s Houseful in an item song Apni To Jaise Theise in 2010.

Jacqueline Fernandez recently appeared in Murder 2 alongwith Emraan Hashmi. The film is produced by Vikram Bhatt and earned mixed review.

Her upcoming projects are Houseful 2, Raaz 3, and Total Dhamaal.
