Jaya Bachchan is an Indian actress who was born on 10th April, 1948 in a place known as Jabalpur located in Madhya Pradesh in India. The Bollywood celebrity is married to Amitabh Bachchan.

She is also a politician and a participant in the Film and Television Institute in India. She has one son; Abishek Bachchan who also followed her steps in acting.

Academic Life
Jaya Bachchan studied at St. Joseph’s Convent School located in Bhopal where she did well at her studies impressing teachers with her high grades.

She made her debut in the film industry when she featured in the film Mahanagar that was directed by Satyajit Ray. The Bollywood actress also took part in comedies such as the Bengali comedy; Dhanni Meye.
