Personal Life
The bollywood actress was born on September 21, 1980, daughter to Punjabi Randhir Kapoor, an actor, and Sindhi Babitha, she has a sister karishma, who is also an actress.
Bebo as she is called, attended school at Jamnabai nursery school and later joined Welham girls boarding school. She later furthered her studies at Harvard, for a short period of time, before she later returned to India where she studied law for one year.
Her ardor was in acting, she therefore joined Kishore Namit Acting School with a dream of becoming a bollywood celebrity.
About kareena’s Career
Kareena’s early career started with the movie, Kaho Na Pyaar Haiwhich was actually supposed to be her first debut, but she worked away and instead starred in ‘’refugee’’ in 2002.this was apparently a good start for her because the role won her the film fare best debut award.
2001 was quite busy for her with great films and a nomination for the film fare best actress award. Her career however came to a hunch in 2002 and 2003, when critics wondered doubted if Kareena was a true typecast in her roles.
Kareena started to experiment with different roles in 2004, for instance she acted as a sex worker in ‘’chameli’’ which earned her film fare special performance award.
In 2005, kareena played a villain in ‘’fida’’, by this time kareena was already a bollywood celebrity.
The bollywood celebrity had much more in 2006 when she received the film fare critics award for the best performance in ‘omkara’’, together with the film fare best actress award for ‘’jab We Met’’ in 2007.
