Madhubala also known as Mumtaz Begum Jehan Dehlavi, was an Indian actress who was born on 14th February, 1933 in India.

She passed away on 23rd February, 1969 aged only thirty six years of age. The bollywood actress resided in Mumbai in India and held the Muslim faith.

She was married to Kishore Kumar. Before her death, the actress featured in several successful films during the early 50’s.

Acting Career
Madhubala featured in movies that have today received acclaimed status. She took part in films such as Meena Kumari, which received international praise making the bollywood celebrity to be considered as one of the most influential actresses of the time. The actress was extremely hardworking during her lifetime; a trait that can be evidenced by the active roles she played in her family.

Madhubala first debut in the film industry was in a movie known as Basant, where she featured the role of the kin of one of the most popular actresses in India Mumtaz Shanti. Her major success particularly in the film industry was in 1943 where she took part in the movie known as Kimset. The film of the bollywood actress was a major hit in the film industry.

Heart Problem
Madhubala developed a heart problem in 1950 but this was discovered later. The bollywood celebrity had since her birth had a cardiac defect that was nit let out to the world by the film industry until after her demise. Her illness developed as she was taking part in filming. She was taken ill on stage and was rushed to hospital where she regained her health.

Madhubala recovered completely from the illness and was even able to continue with her career. During her excellent health conditions, the hot celebrity india became a widely sought after actress making her earn not only awards but also filming contracts with some of the most acclaimed filming officials in the filming industry. Her great acting skills and personality is definitely missed by all in the filming industry.
