Monica Bedi the heartthrob of many young Indian cinema fans is born in the year Jan 18, 1985 in Chabbewal village. This is 15 km from Hoshiarpur.

Monica Bedi was moved to Drammen, Norvey, near to Oslo the capital of Norvey when she was 10 months old. Her father is Dr. Prem Bedi. He is a doctor in Hoshiarpur and Mother is Shakuntala.

Monica’s parents are running an Indian clothing center there. She met the producer Manoj Kumar in England when she was studying English literature in Oxford University. Manoj Kumar’s son was her classmate.

Being a great bollywood celebrity, she has acted in both Hindi and many Telugu and Kannada movies. Though she was in the industry for very short time, she made a permanent mark in the Indian cinema industry as a hot celebrity India.

She acted nearly twelve movies in Telugu and few other movies including Hindi. Though she was in fewer Hindi movies Monica Bedi is been recognized as a very good bollywood actress for her acting talents and great success.

Monica Bedi is said to be married to Abu Salem, an underworld don. However, she denies it. Police informed that Abu Salem helped Monica Bedi in acting movies. She was arrested along with Abu Salem in the year 2002 as she entered Portugal with fake documents. She was once again arrested in passport forgery case and they have also filed section 420, 120 B (criminal conspiracy) and section 12 of the Passport Act for procuring case.

Monica Bedi ran into a lot of controversies time and again but these things never seem to affect her willingness to act more. She is been reported saying that there are directors asking her to make a comeback to the bollywood and she is seriously considering few. If she comes back to bollywood it will be a great treat to all her fans in India and other adjacent countries.
