Personal History
Mumtaz was born in Bombay, India on July 31st 1947 and became Bollywood celebrity at the age of twelve years.

Career
Mumtaz started acting in the 1960s where she took part as a minor character in several big films like in Tazan, Boxer, Samson and King Kong.

The Indian celebrity participated in 16 action films with a freestyle wrestler Dala Sign where she acquired the title stun film heroine.

She started gaining attention in color hit films in 1965 of which the movie became a success and it led to another big budget film Patthar Ke Sanam of which it finally gave her major attention after playing one of the Dilip Kumar’s ladies in 1967.

Mumtaz received her first Filmfare nomination as the best supporting actress due to Dilip Kumar’s film that became one of the top hits and later many people offered her a character in films but not the major leading roles.

The director Kholsa who is very good at making songs come real, filmed four songs praising the celebrity that are unforgettable and made her famous. The actress acknowledged the minor character she was acting in the film that the songs were featured and still remains one of her favorite films.

The Bollywood celebrity had no problem in acting the sexy parts and her great look made her hit in several more films. So far she has acted in hundreds films in a career that just started at the age of 12 years. In 1970 Mumtaz won the Filmfare Best Actress Award because of the favorites films Khilona.

The Bollywood actress stopped acting in 1977 after appearing in Aaina which failed despite the fact it was being directed by a well known director Kailasam Balachander. She got married to a millionaire and after 12 years she featured in another movie that also failed; she has two daughters of which the eldest is getting married soon
