Salman Khan is the most handsome Bollywood actor, who acted in more than 80 Hindi films and proved his outstanding talent.

He achieved great fame with movie Maine Pyar Kiya in 1989 and received Filmfare Best Male Debut Award. After that Salman got opportunity to work in many hit films like Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Kran Arjun, Judwaa, and more. Besides that he hosted some popular television shows like 10 Ka Dum and Bgg Boss (4).

Early Life:

Salman Khan was born on December 27, 1965 in Madhya Pradesh, India. His father Salim Khan was the most popular screen play writer in Hindi film industry and worked with Javed Akhatar, a veteran script writer and lyricist.

His mother is Salma Khan, formerly known as Sushila Charak. Halen, the most popular actress is a step mother of Salman. Besides that he has two brothers named Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan and two sisters, Alvira and Arpita.

Salman attended St. Stanislaus High School, located in Bandra, Mumbai with his siblings.

Filmy Career:

Salman Khan made his debut in Bollywood with film, Biwi Ho To Aisi in a minor role in 1988. But he got fame by making his appearance in Maine Pyar Kiya, directed by Suraj Barjatya, in 1989.


The film is known for great box office success, paved a way for him. He was much acclaimed for his great acting skill and won Filmfare Best Male Debut Award.


In 1991, he appeared in film Saajan, directed by Lawrence D’Souza. It was declared a blockbuster film and he got much appreciation for his performance in the film.


He continued his success with the film, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, alongside Madhuri Dixit in 1994. The film made a great record of success and earned great revenue.

After that he was approached by Rakesh Roshan to appear in his film, Karan Arjun, alongside Shah Rukh Khan, in 1995. It was another blockbuster movie that updated his profile as the most successful actor of Bollywood.

In 1997, Khan appeared in Judwaa and Auzaar, both movies were declared super hit and once again he made his fans happy by delivering a great performance.

He adopted comic skills within himself and exhibited in Judwaa, appreciated by audience at great extent. After that he was appreciated for his comic role in many movies Jab Pyar Ksi Se Hota Hai. Hum Saath Saath Hain, Biwi No.1, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, No Entry, and more.

Salman Khan has recently appeared in many super hit movies Wanted, Dabangg, and Ready, declared huge hit. His up coming flicks are Bodyguard, Tell Me O Khuda, Ek Tha Tiger, and Sher Khan.
