Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most popular Indian actors, who made his acting debut with Deewana and became star overnight.

Today he is recognized as a successful actor as well as producer. He made his debut as a producer with film Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani in 2000.

Shah Rukh is the name of versatile talent and he verified the above sentence by launching him as an actor, producer and television artist. He appeared as a host in the most popular television show Kuan Banega Crorepati.

Shah Rukh has appeared in 70 Hindi films so far and won several prestigious awards such as Filmfare Best Awards, Padamshree Award, IIFA, and many more.

Early Life:

Shah Rukh was born on November 2, 1965 in Delhi India in a Muslim family. His father named Taj Mohammed Khan, from Peshawar, now in Pakistan, was a great freedom fighter and mother Lateef Fatima was an adopted daughter of Major General Shah Nawaz Khan.

He did his schooling from St. Columbas School. He was keen for acting since his early childhood and participated in several extra co-curricular activities.

He then joined Hans Raj College and earned his Bachelor degree in Economics (Hons). After that he joined Jamia Millia Islamia and completed his Mass Communication degree.

Early Career,

After completing his study, Shah Rukh moved to Mumbai and married Gauri Chibber, a Hindu girl. Shah Rukh polished his acting skills by joining Barry John at Delhi Theatre Action Group and learned several important lessons of acting.

He soon got an excellent opportunity to made his debut in Hindi film with Deewana, costarring Divya Bharati, in 1992. The film was declared a huge hit at the box office and Shah Rukh’s performance also got huge appreciation from audience.

He earned Filmfare Best Male Debut Award. He became a star after showing his great acting skills in films Darr and Bazzigar. Such films enhanced his profile and made him superstar.

After that he made his appearance in Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa and his outstanding performance helped him to receive Filmfare Critics Award for Best Performance.

Shah Rukh got major breakthrough in the form Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayaange, produced and directed by Aditya Chopra. It was commercially superhit movie and broke all the box office records.

The movie helped Shah Rukh to prove his great acting skills in all over the world. After this movie, Shah Rukh Kahn acted in many blockbuster movies such as Dil To Paagal Hai, Kuchh Kuchh Hota Hai, Mohabbatein, and many more.

After a successful acting career, he ventured into production and launched his own production company, Red Chillies Entertainment, launched first film, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani in 2000.

The success of this movie prompted him to produce several other movies such as Asoka, Chalte Chalte, Main Hoo Na, Billu, and more. His upcoming projects are Ra One and Don 2: The Chase Continues.
