Shamita Shetty is an Indian actress born in 1979 on 2nd of February. 

She happens to be the younger sister of Shilpa Shetty the famous bollywood actress. She is the youngest daughter of Sunanda and Surendra Shetty. 

Their family was a traditionally embedded family which brings about its emanation from South Kannada or Mangalore. 

With the parents indulge themselves in manufacturing tamper proof caps for industry related to pharmacy and related fields.  Their native language is Tulu.  

Education
Shamita Shetty studied in St. Antony’s Girl’s High School in Chembur, Mumbai.  Later she graduated from Sydenhams College in Mumbai.

Shamita Shetty imaged her debut in the year 2000 with Mohabbatein.  A series of successes greeting her thereafter in movies such as Sharata Sharara, in Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai as well as Chori Pe Chori in Saathiya.
