Shilpa Shetty’s birth took place on June 8th, 1975. She made her debut in Baazigar in the year 1993 when she was cast against Shahrukh Khan.

After this movie she acted in forty films which are Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi language films. Aag provided the first leading role for her in 1994.

Shilpa Shetty’s performances in Dhadkan in the year 2000 and Rishtey in the year 2002 were very well appreciated.

Shilpa Shetty was born to Sunanda and Surendra Shetty who are manufacturers of tamper proof caps for industry relating to pharmacy. Her native language is Tulu although she is a linguist capable of speaking many Indian languages.

She studied in St. Anthony’s Girl’s High School in Chembur and later studied graduation in Podar College in Matunga, Mumbai. She is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and is also well versed as a captain of volleyball team while she was in school and now earned a black belt in Karate and she is currently an enthusiast of dance as well as dancesport events.

Shilpa Shetty’s height is five feet ten inches and she lives in Mumbai along with her parents and her younger sister who happens to be bollywood actress. She is one of the tallest actresses in bollywood. She has been successful in purchasing her residence on Saint Geoge’s Hill in England along with her boyfriend Raj Kundra.
