Tabu is a famous bollywood star born on 4th November, 1970 in Hyderabad. She has won many filmfare awards and critics’ awards as well as stupendous nominations both within the country and abroad.

She has acted in Hindi movies as well as in regional movies. Tabu has also coveted national awards for filmfares.

Her Early Life, Career and Honors
Tabu moved to Mumbai in 1983 and studied in St. Xavier’s College. Her career started with Hum Naujawan in 1985.

She was only fifteen years of age at that time of the release of the first film. Tabu also played against the leading role of Dev Anand’s daughter. She also acted in Telugu movies in Coolie No. 1, Hindi movie Pehla Pehla Pyar which did not get noticed by the general public.

In the year 1994 Tabu came in the observation record with the movie called Vijaypath in which Ajay Devgan also starred. She achieved the film star best female debut award for her role in the film. This movie was followed by many other movies but unfortunately all of them did not click at the box office.

Later on Saajan Chale Sasural as well as Jeet, Maachis were major hits. National film award was bestowed on her for her role in the film Maachis. In 1997 Tabu also played another role in Border movie in the backdrop of 1971 Pakistan war. It was one of the biggest of 1997.
