Birth and Personal Life
Tanisha Tanuja is an Indian bollywood actress born on 23rd Septermber, 1943 in Mumbai.

She is the mother of Tanisha and Kajol. Tanisha Tanuja’s mother was a famous actress in the year 1930 as well as in the year 1940 and her father happened to be a poet and a film director.

When she was young her parents were separated. She entered film field as child actress and she continued work till the year 1973.

Her Career
With Nutan her elder sister Tanisha Tanuja started her career in the filmdom. Her first film was Hamari Beti in the year 1950, in this film she acted as baby Tanisha Tanuja.

As an adult actress she was acted in the film Chhabili in the year 1960 directed by her mother. Her various films are Phir Bhi Aayengi and Baharein. Her career in film started from 1960s to 1980s. After getting success in the movie Haathi Mere Saathi in the year 1971, she acted in Ek Baar Muskara Do, Do Chor, and Mere Jeevan Saathi in the year 1972. The other films in which she has acted are Jeene Ki Raah, Anubhav, Bhoot Bangla, Pavitra Paapi, Imtihan, etc.

After many years Tanisha Tanuja retired from the film industry. She happened to be one of the best bollywood actresses and was hot celebrity India during her reigning career. She was one of the most beautiful and accomplished actresses in talent during her reigning career.

Tanisha Tanuja acted against famous Amitabh Bachchan, Rajesh Khanna and Raj Kapoor. She played her supporting roles in Pyar Ki Kahani, Bhabhi as well as Prem Rog. Recently she appeared in films such as Saathiya in 2002, Khakee and Rules in 2003 as an actress given the role of supporting ones.
