Zeenat Aman

Early life
Born to a Hindu mother and father, her father was of the Muslim religion, Zeenat Aman grew up in an artistic family as her father was a literary writer.

Her name was still unknown as she had to attend Saint Xavier’s school located in the city of Bombay. Later through a scholarship, Zeenat studied in California, returned to journalism and modeling.

In fact this celebrity name is a past winner of the Asia/Pacific beauty pageant. The Bollywood actress lost her father when she was still 13 years old. This was a long way after the divorce of her parents.

On screen debut
O.P.Ralhan was the first movie producer and director who gave the Bollywood celebrity her first break on the silver screen. Unfortunately for Zeenat, her first movies were not any better and died more or less a natural death. After her mother remarried, Zeenat Aman was almost giving up and began making preparations to go to Malta.

But as fate would have it the Bollywood celebrity stayed on for a while longer at the behest of the film director. This turned out to be the best point of her life as she won many awards and repute from the success of the movie. The award for Zeenat Aman included the best supporting actress Filmfare award.

Career
Zeenat Aman brought massive changes to Bollywood; she changed actresses’ perception by proving that one didn’t have to be a dancer to act. Of course this was unheard of before but because this hot celebrity of India did not know how to dance it was considered acceptable. She seldom also wore bandis and sari and was quite of a liberal nature. In fact Zeenat Aman’s roles were of contemporary and liberal nature.

Marriage
Zeenat Aman married actor Mazhar Khan and had two sons with him. Soon however they went through an acrimonious divorce and after awhile Mazhar died. Zeenat Aman is still growing up in her acting career.
