Respecting everyone is the main workplace ethics to be followed to earn respect.
You cannot demand respect; you have to earn it by being polite and honest. Be clear with your work demands and not dominating.
Show your sense of humor and good presence of mind and also accept your mistakes quickly.
Negativity in the workplaces is an integral part and should be handled by identifying the problems based on the symptoms like decreased productivity, increase in absentees, etc.
Be bold enough to step in and communicate and put forth your opinion, if necessary.
Employer’s role
Ethics of an employer has a great contribution in a workplace. An employer should be a good leader, should have loads of patience, courage to handle, empathy to attend the needy and a very strong and positive attitude.
Tardiness is against the policy of workplace ethics and should be dealt without much delay.
