The oldest automaker in India, Hindustan Motors is all set to launch its New Hindustan Motors Cars in the country. Even though it is a revamping of its existing line of successful Ambassador Brand, the launching seems to be much quiet than otherwise. The company has launched its 2011 Ambassador Grand sedan without much hype. The car features some new features in the car including unparalleled sturdiness, safety, comfort and space. The major addition to the new C-segment car is that it is BS-IV compliant.
What it Has To Offer in Feature Segment
It features the same engine, an 1817 cc petrol Isuzu piece that delivers a peak power of 72 BHP or 134 Nm. The model is also available in LPG and CNG variants. The Hindustan Motors Car Prices for the Grand 1.8 L Petrol variant is Rs. 7 Lakh. It features 5-passenger seating capacity, Power Steering, 5-speed manual transmission, a 42 Litre fuel tank, weight of 1.15 Tonne, non-climate control Air Conditioner and Music System. The interiors feature power windows, mobile charger, mould door pad, digital trip meter, spacious interiors and malfunction indicator.
The exterior features include clear-glass headlamp, rear-view mirror, escutcheon enabled side indicator, full wheel hub cover, body color bumper, diamond-cut tail lamp and soft-touch door handle. The car is quite comfortable and with the nationwide Hindustan Motors Car Dealers network, it can be serviced just anywhere.
Corporate Overlook
The company is planning to launch more models into the Indian market, equipped with new engines. And, it is expected that the launches will continue through 2011. Presently the sales figure of Hindustan Motors Ambassador model is more than 800 units a month. New is also flowing in that the C.K. Birla group company is also in the planning to launch a small car, which is expected to be around the month of July. Even though the design would be something close to its successful model, Ambassador, it is expected to be smaller. And, some reports are also claiming that there can be a model in both the sedan and hatchback segment. And, as per the concern for price, the New Hindustan Motor Cars prices in India for the small cars is estimated to be much below the price tag for its present line of models.
