Maruti Car Company was founded in 1981 as Maruti Udyog limited. Later on in 2007, Maruti changed its name to Maruti Suzuki India limited, as it is a subsidiary company of Suzuki Motor Corporation, a Japan auto manufacturing company. Its headquarter is in New Delhi with about 7, 000 employees. Maruti manufactures largest number of passenger cars in India and occupy’s about 45% of Indian market of passenger cars. Maruti is also known to bring automobile revolution in India.

Then in 1985 Maruti launched Gypsy, this was also a success. Both these cars gave boost to Maruti cars in India. Then Maruti introduced Alto, swift, SX4, A-star, Ritz and Eeco. Almost all of these cars were success and earned huge profits to this company. Still Maruti is making new models of these cars and all of them are highly appreciated by Indian nation.
