The Christmas cake is yet another integral part of this celebration. It is a soft fruit cake shared among the family members and friends during this period of fun and frolic.

And who can deny the importance of Santa Claus during the Christmas time? He is our very own wise old man with lots of gifts and good wishes to be ushered on us for our well being.

He has got a funny long white beard, and a red coat and a red hat. According to folklore, he travels in his sledge in the sky and during late night hours fills the hung socks of the children with gifts. Bigger the socks, bigger and more the gifts!
