Citi Bank is the largest international bank having its operations more than 100 countries. The origin of City Bank is traced to 1812 when the City Bank of New York was founded.

Subsequently the name was changed to First National City Bank of New York. At present Citi Bank is an arm of Citigroup the largest financial services company in the world.
