Deutsche Bank

Deutsche Bank was established by Adelbert Delbrück in Berlin in the year 1870.

The main aim of this bank was to transact all kinds of business banking transactions and also to create smooth business relations between Germany and other European countries.

During 1880s the Deutsche Bank played a vital role in industrial revolution, especially in promoting electrical engineering industry in Germany.

This Bank faced immense troubles during 1933 - 1945 periods when the Nazi Government was in power under Hitler. During 1947-48 in postwar period the bank was broken into 10 different banks.

In 1970 Deutsche Bank started its global operations with the acquisition of several overseas banks in Spain, Italy, UK and USA. Today Deutsche Bank is one of the highly respected banks and operates in 75 countries with total assets of € 840bn.
