Full Name: Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone.
Madonna was born on 16 August 1958 in Rochester, Michigan and is one of the most famous pop singer.

Personality traits: Has a huge IQ and reportedly enjoys chess.

Personal life: She is currently married to Guy Ritchie, after her divorce with actor, Sean Penn that lasted from 1984 to 1988. Her first child was with her lover and personal trainer Carlos Leon, who was named Lourdes Maria (Lola) Ciccone Leon.

Later on she got married to a British director Guy Ritchie in 2000; they have a son, Rocco John Ritchie. In recent times, Madonna is also referred to as Esther. She puts it as “I don't go by the name of Esther, but yes, that is my Hebrew name. I chose it."

Madonna was named after her mother who unfortunately passed away when she was too young. Madonna had always wanted to affix her name to another name and that was the time when she read about all the women in the Old Testament and she fell completely in love with the story of Queen Esther."

Madonna's debut album, imaginatively titled Madonna was released in 1983, and sold 3 million copies. However her next album titled Like a Virgin was a big time seller and made a very strong impact on her fans world wide! Her music has perpetually sustained to be a significant and viable success and in the past 20 years.

Surveys indicated that Madonna has sold more than 250m records. Her Live 8 performances were extremely looked upon. Confessions on a Dance floor, produced by Stuart Price was the Number 1 single 'Hung Up'. Madonna has been a hugely successful singer, but she is a woman of many talents. Her photo-book, Sex was a great commercial success although panned by many critics.

Madonna's interest in writing books with regards to Children's Stories

Madonna has written a series of five children's stories and some of them include The English Roses that is in relation with "jealousy and envy"; in the second book which is titled Mr. Peabody's Apples revolves around power of normal words.

In her third book, the Seven Thieves basic theme talks about the "transformative power of prayer"; the fourth work, The Adventures of Abdi, looks at the "power of conviction and confidence" and Lotsa de Casha is related to the "secret to happiness".

Madonna basically had a strong believe that she has always wanted to write stories that in away will be able to help children and for the very same reason she has kept a purpose and theme behind every story written.
