Best Laid Plans (1999)Movie Introduction – This movie depicts around a very affluent successful Bryce who is Josh Brolin and when he meets the best-looking and stunning blonde Lissa who is Reese Witherspoon. They happen to meet at a bar this one night and he invites her back to his house, hardly expecting Lissa to be someone else. A lot of things unfold which are quite what we term as treacherous, dodgy, risky and completely scrambled web of double-crosses and seduction that'll keep you guessing all sorts of things at every moment of every scene. Best Laid Plans is one of the movies where you can expect twists, turns, and unfaithfulness. This is the first ever movie directed by Mike Barker and he has certainly proved to have made quite a bit of effort. It is more on the intricate side wherein the characters have delivered a fine performance.
It would certainly be better of the movie is watched rather than giving details here as it would not then be an intense, suspenseful story. This movie incorporates perfect zigs when you think it will zag and hence if you read more about the details of the movie will end up spoiling the fun. One important character in this film to watch out for is Josh Brolin (The Mod Squad, Mimic) who is shown as Nick's college buddy Bryce. He has done a tremendous job and needs a big applause. Most of the people argue that the turns and twist are at times to intricate to understand….well then you certainly need to stay focused and pay attention!!!
