Day 3: Then to Nadol driving past a territory of nature worshippers known as Bishnoi in Pali. Along the way, a village widely known for its marble Jain temple will come into focus. It is known as the village of Ranakpur. The Jain temple is dedicated to Adinatha. The temple is known to have countless marble pillars that supported this magnificent structure, carved in such exquisite detail that one pillar differs from the other. This temple was well-considered when picking for the new Seven Wonders of the World. |
