GLIMPSES OF SOUTH INDIA

Day 01 - Arrive Cochin
Arrive in Cochin and meet our representative who assists you in checking into the hotel.  

Day 02 - In Cochin
Enjoy the breakfast and then we take you to the half day sightseeing tour of Cochin. You can view the evening harbour cruise to view Chinese fishing nets at sunset. Say overnight at hotel.

Day 03 - Drive Cocin, Kumarakom
Take a road journey of two hours covering 85 km to Kumarakoram after the breakfast. En route,visit Allepey to Kottayam through backwaters on a houseboat. Stay overnight at Kumarakoram after checking in at the hotel. Day 04 - Drive Kumarakom, Periyar: In the morning travel to Periyar after the breakfast. The journey is of about three hours covering a distance of 200 km. Stay overnight in Periyar. Day 05 - In Periyar: Enjoy the Periyar wildlife sanctuary that offers glimpses of the south India and its wildlife in truest form. You can enjoy morning and evening game drives in Periyar. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 06 - Drive Periyar-Madurai

Day 07 - Drive Madurai-Trichy
Enjoy a half day sightseeing tour of Madurai after the breakfast. Later travel by road to Trichy for 3 hours covering a distance of 140 km. Check in at hotel and stay overnight.

Day 09 - Drive Pondicherry-Mahabalipuram Enjoy a half day sightseeing tour of Pondicherry after the breakfast. Later travel by road to Mahabalipuram for 2 hours covering a distance of 95 km. Check in at hotel and stay overnight.

Day 10 - In Mahabalipuram Explore the ancient Mahabalipuram at leisure on your own. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 - Depart Chennai
Take a half day sight seeing tour of Madras after breakfast. Transfer to airport in the evening to connect flight for onward destination.
