CHINA GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS :

obtained after the expiry of the validity of the current passport.

Application for a new passport is required to be submitted at least two months before the date of expiry of the current passport to facilitate processing of the application and issue of new passport in time.

Following documents/papers are required to be submitted:

i - Application form No.EAP-1.

ii - Original passport, current passport and additional booklets, if any.

iii - Four recent colored passport size photographs.

iv - Fee: RMB 335.00 (36 pages)/RMB 415.00 (60 pages).



Passports issued for 5 yrs validity period. Following documents/papers are required to be produced:

i - Birth certificate along with a photocopy.

ii - Marriage certificate with a photocopy.

iii - Current passports of parents along with photocopies.

iv - Four recent colored passport size photos of the child.

v - Affidavit to be signed by the parents - Affidavit Form.

vi - Duly filled in form No: EAP-I. Either of the parents can sign the application.

vii - Fee: RMB 210.00 (36 pages).
