INSTRUCTIONS FOR VISA APPLICANTS :
Requirements for Visas
Original passport valid for at least 6 months. The passport
must have the holder's signature. If the passport is newly
issued (within 6 months from the date of visa application),
the previous passport also should be shown for verification.
In case of dual nationality both the passports should
be presented.
Correct visa fee.
Two passport size photographs (5 photographs in case of
Pakistani nationals).
Supporting documents, where necessary.
In case of visas for minors on separate passports, a consent/sponsor
letter from the parents should be submitted.
Duly completed application form. The visa application
should be signed only by the applicant and it should tally
with the signature in the passport. (Pakistani and Bangladeshi
nationals need to apply on special application forms).
Fees
The visa fees are to be paid in Euro and in cash only.
Fees once received will not be refunded, even if the application
is withdrawn or the service refused.

Notes:
1. The fees above do not apply to applicants
holding Pakistani, SriLankan or Bangladeshi passports,
or passports of countries that provide Gratis Visas to
Indian passport holders.
2. Pakistani Nationals are charged a
fee of Euro 1.00 in addition to the fax charge of Euro
13.00.
3. SriLankan Nationals are charged a
fee of Euro 4.00 for single entry visa, Euro 7.00
for double entry visa, and Euro 11.00 for multiple entry
visa.
4. Nationals of Afghanistan, Argentina,
Bangladesh, Jamaica, Maldives (visa is not required up
to 90 days), Mongolia, Mauritius, North Korea (DPRK),
Poland, Slovak Republic, South Africa and Uruguay are
not charged any visa fees.
5. Japanese Nationals are charged a visa
fee of Euro 10.00.
6. Russian Nationals are charged a service
fee of Euro 50.00 (Normal Visa fee does not apply to them).
7. Romanian Nationals are charged a service
fee of Euro 7.00 (Normal Visa fee does not apply to them).
8. Bhutan and Nepal Nationals do not
require visa.
9. Hungarian nationals are chraged an
express fee of Euro 19.00 for same day service, in addition
to the prescribed Visa fee.
10. Fees are valid w.e.f. 1st June 2002
and are subject to change without notice.
